Deflated NOTE: Energiser Bunny = FLAT Batteries are depleting... ... Spare power is nearing the danger zone too.  You know you are tired when your family caught you dozing off in front of your laptop. The next thing you know, the day breaks. Then you found this month's utilities bill slipped under your laptop, together with a note that reads, "Utilities bill went up! Off the power when not in use." !!! My mum is so cute, right? La Dolce Vita YooHOO! Yep, this post is all about the-sweet-life because we have been slogging too hard. So we need some repair work to recharge our batteries! I know! I know! Some of you gonna remind me of my KK trip last month, but that was last month... ... *looks at you with pitiful eyes. LOL. Anyway, I'll recommend this to those of you who do not have the time to travel yet, wants a short getaway with minimal effort! Don't even need to plan or change currency. WHeee! Here we go! Where wanderlust leads!  Checkpoint 1: Harbourfront Ferry Counter - Buy Ferry Ticket Alritey, that also calls for some breakfast before you go onboard unless you want to packet your food and eat in the ferry.  Escape the hustle bustle of the city! Relax as the breeze swept off your stress! But as soon as we look at the rear of the ferry... ... POLLUTION !!!  Approximately 1 hour plus of unobstructued seaview before we reach our destination. Checkpoint 3: Batam Centre Ferry Terminal The beginning of our 8 hours recharge adventure! Here you can find Polo tees (but I am not sure if they are simailar to the ones at shopping malls), get your coffee and toast, local tibits, toilet stop and transport. You will find that some massage/spa operators offers pick up services to chauffer you to and from the ferry terminal at no cost!  Here's some of the local sights as we are being chauffered to our destination.  We did our spa at this place. But personally, I prefer this in terms of service and the overall experience (i.e personal tv as they shampoo your hair... ...) (If you aren't staying overnight in Batam, you can try to book your spa package from the links which I have provided. Both operators provides pick up services from the ferry terminal and send you to your next destination too)  After all the pampering, our stomach were growling like crazy. But we only have 30 minutes to our manicure and pedicure sessions. This calls for some local delights at the immediate neighbourhood. AYAM PENYET! - Not fogetting the in-between waffle ice-cream and curly fries from A&W. After all the "repairing" work, we were late for our ferry ride! Luckily, we managed to change our scheduled timing to the next ferry.. ... which is the last ferry of the day! RECHARGED & ENERGISED. Labels: Holiday 10:34 PM

RUSH hour ahead My keyboard has became a trampoline for my fingers! Noticed those time when there are some drivers who furiously accerlerate on that very last second to get away from ERP/before the lights turns red? Then you exclaim, "Where are you rushing to?!!" That's the kind of pressure which I have been living for the past two weeks (at least). Just to clarify, I don't support reckless driving nor living. But... ... that's really how I have been operating at work! Everyday is a mad rush on my end to deliver that *star* product to the client's desk. Thought to myself: MUST REMEMBER TO BREATHE  ** Suddenly, a colleague passed me a box of happiness! What a way to end this week with. :) 11:53 PM

Muurveee it! Movvvve it! A massive detox weekend!!! No... no... not that I want to detox but I ate something wrong and my stomach has been churning like a washing machine. bbbbrrrr.... ... Not sure how many rolls of toilet paper i wasted too! Oh well! Luckily, I got better at night and managed to make it to Malcolm's birthday party at Ritz Calrton! THEME: KEEP MOVING FORWARD  ... ... and Mal is right, the toilet is too beautiful for me to bomb. Good that I have saved all the "heavy duty" work at home. It was a night of feeling privileged to be invited and meeting other beautiful social butterflies! More cocktails, please! But photos very limited! Cos, I kept chatting and was lazy to take more! LOL ... ... Keep walking.. Keep moving forward... ... What would you do differently, for today? Ponder. Makes me recall my boss who constantly remind me of "the next level". Immediate agony. Stress. *j.bro..ken Loving it! A genius finally created the most amazing software to do this after I updated my firmware to 3.1.3! From iPhone 2G to iPhone 3GS... Times changed but my love for this phone hasn't changed!  So cool! I feel like a little girl again! *hopping around.
