Pour Amour Feburary... also known as the month of ... ... (Did this on my cable car ride in HK, nice?) Just before I left for Manila, I kinda have already celebrated V-day in a way Hence, it was with much anticipation to quickly finish my meeting so I can fly home fast fast fast. Though V-Day is another merchants' day and I very much do not encourage extravagant spending (which you'd usually get less than what you would normally would), but nevertheless its a special day to celebrate your love with your loved ones! Since pictures paint a thousand words, here's something from my mum which also expresses my message to all my beloved friends and loved ones: Can't do without the special peeps in my life! MMMMuuuuacckkkkks! Love you all, deep deep! LOL Labels: appreciation 11:55 PM

Merry-go-round Give your heart a song to sing! Manila business trip falls on the weekend before V-day! As usual, I packed my luggage in the morning, just in time for the flight. Here's a quick view of the hotel: Was nicer than I thought. But the pillow is so flat and the mattress is weird! The support is just... off and I suffered from massive insomnia (-.-) Still can't get to sleep after much tossing and turning - hoping to get tired and knock out! So I woke up feeling so lethargic. Nevertheless, a new day at a new city always brings excitement! 1. Greeted with morning flowers on the table; 2.Good selection of breakfast buffet; 3.Beating the traffic to hit the malls; 4.Whereabouts are we man! As our hotel is located right in the middle of the CBD, so there aren't many choices apart from shopping. Nevertheless, Girls are just girls... ... we google-ed and mapped out all the shopping malls within Manila to conquer! Would say it's a good bonding session + lots of walking with my colleague ala friend! After visiting all the malls, we concluded that Manila's malls are humongous! Also tried some local food and not forgetting, D.R.I.N.K.S! Can you believe that we actually went out in the evening on our own (yes *nod *nod) to shop and of course... chill with a glass of wine and oh! by the way, we also met a crazy cab driver that made my friend threw up her dinner. Though such experience was not appreciated but still, it was an interesting experience. Was thinking to myself on all the independence and freedom which I have been enjoying. Always feel that it is such a luxury to be able to run along where wanderlust leads! *Screams : I wana see the world!! Know it's a little random, but before I enter dreamland... ... I guessed I am still feeling the CNY festive mood: Should have posted this earlier but as you know we were rushing to close off for CNY festive holidays then, I was rushing to clear my in-trays before I leave for Manila. Nevertheless, here's wishing you another prosperous year and many more to come! Lucky! Lucky! Labels: Holiday 11:50 PM

Lunar New Year Preparations The most celebrated festive occassion among all Chinese! Immediately rushed home after work to help out with the last minute preparations to turn my house RED! There you go: That's not all, it's a touch of red-ness everywhere: I meant everywhere... ... including myself - i.e. My nails: This is probably the only time within the year that I would wear Red, as most of you would probably know that I am not a fan of Red because I find this colour rather loud on me. But looking at my nails, I think I have became more receptive to this colour - signs of maturity, maybe? AAhhhhH!!! Let's save the Reunion Dinner for another post... what I want to show you is my creations at 2am!! Reflections from the lightings made it difficult to capture the design clearly. My family tries to stay awake throughout the night (shou-ye) - in olden days, people believes that by doing so your parents get to live longer. But for us, it was more behind this tradition. We are all busy people so once we get together, our conversations were endless. So, at 2 am my youngest sis had this crazy idea of having her nails painted in green, pink and purple. Preferably with some leopard prints. Why? Cos it's someone's lucky colour and design... ... Since it is a brand new beginning in the new year, her sis (myself) decided to be kind to do her the favour. Having completed the nails + this post, takes me to dawn and I can go get some sleep before my Ang Baos come in! Wishing you a Happy & Prosperous Lunar New Year filled with abundance joy! Win lots of money too! Big Buddha from Lantau Island, HK Labels: fun 5:03 AM
